Geum 'Scarlet Tempest'

Geum 'Scarlet Tempest'

A smaller perennial with vibrant flowers and a long, intermittent flowering period making it a great choice for many seasonal garden positions and displays. The Geum 'Scarlet Tempest' is a compact herbaceous perennial with basal, mid-green foliage and short, branching stems which carry relatively large, saucer-shaped, semi-double flowers of bright red touched with apricot hues of orange-pink. The flowers bloom around mid-Spring and last until mid-Summer, with a second bloom appearing soon after around late Summer and into the Autumn.

Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soils and keep in full or partial sun. Avoid excessively wet soils and position as this may cause root damage. Divide every two to 3 years after the flowering period to encourage fresh growth and maintain flowering.

Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Herbaceous plants die back below the soil in the Winter and may be supplied in their dormant state during this time. Fresh growth will be seen the following Spring.
